How to Enable Hibernate Option in Windows 8?

In Windows 8 Microsfot has removed the power option menu.So there is missing Hibernate option in Windows 8 operating system.Power option can be access through new charms bar as mentioned below.....

The new power menu contain only SLEEP , SHUT DOWN , RESTART option only. HIBERNATE  option is missing in power menu.

If you are trying the 'Alt +f4' key combination for shutting down the system it will also not show you the 'HIBERNATE' option.
The reason behind removing the 'HIBERNATE'  feature may be the Hybrid shutdown feature. Hybrid shut down feature is introduce in windows 8 is  the combination of Hibernate and shut down which makes the shut down process faster.

But hibernate option can be added back to power menu. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Press "WIN+R" key combination to launch RUN dialog box then type powercfg.cpl and press Enter. It'll open Power Options window.

2. Now click on "Choose what the power buttons do" link given in left sidebar.

3. Then click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" link given at the top and scroll down to bottom.

4. You'll notice that "Hibernate" option is unchecked. Enable the option and apply the changes.

5. That's it. It'll immediately add missing hibernate option in power menu of Windows 8 as shown in following screenshot:

Have fun with HIBERNATE option.
